A bank branch or money transfer outlet is an obvious target. Break-in attempts target the shop front, the walls and rear entrances, often at night or at weekends, and every alarm must be quickly verifiable from a distance.

Recommended solutions

AMC Vita panels integrate CCTV camera streams for video verification of alarms. Hybrid K and X series panels report alarms over their built-in telephone line and, with the GSM/4G or IP expansions, over the mobile network or the internet, using the Contact ID and SIA monitoring protocols. Around the control panel, we recommend:

seismic detectors on walls and shop windows, and glass-break detectors on the front;
curtain detectors on rear doors and windows;
a proximity reader and RFID badges, so that each employee arms and disarms with their own badge;
a 4G communication module as a backup to the landline, or a telephone dialler;
residue-free CO2 extinguishers for electrical and IT rooms, and a small conventional fire panel.
