Addressable fire alarm repeater panel

The addressable fire alarm repeater panel (or display panel) is a microprocessor-controlled fire alarm display panel developed by ASENWARE. Each display panel connects to an ASENWARE fire alarm panel through a dedicated RS-485 interface to process and display the data it sends. Each floor of a building can be fitted with a display panel. In the event of a fire alarm on the floor where the display panel is installed, or on a neighbouring floor, it gives an audible/strobe alarm and displays the floor number, room number and other alarm location information.

Addressable fire alarm repeater features:

• Each display panel connects to a fire alarm panel over an RS-485 bus. Up to 99 display panels can be connected to each RS-485 bus.

• Display panels can show fire alarm messages or feedback messages only, rather than fault messages, action messages or other messages.

• A fire alarm control panel can be used to set the display area of a display panel. That display panel then shows fire alarm messages for the designated area (floor display) only. Note: see the fire alarm control panel user manual for the setup method.

• It can replace an AW-AFP2100 fire display panel in a 2100 system.
